India :

Pakistan can never get more notorious than now. Having duped the world about the citizenship of lone surviving terrorist Ajmal Amir Kasab caught after the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, it now plans to eliminate him. It scarcely has any scruples in choosing international terrorist and India-born gangster Dawood Ibrahim’s network to acheive its Kasab aim. After being tipped off about this nefarious design, Indian authorities have tightened Kasab’s security.
Pak Now Wants Kasab Dead To Ease a Sticky Situation

Senior officials of the intelligence agencies say there are reports that the authorities in Pakistan are trying to eliminate Kasab with the help of their operatives in India.
‘There are reports that the Pakistani authorities, with the help of the ISI, are trying to eliminate Kasab as they fear that more revelations may cause further embarrassment,’ said an Intelligence official. The latest inputs suggest that D-Company men and other Pakistani militants operating in India have been instructed to eliminate Kasab. As there are several criminals belonging to D-company holed up in Arthur Road Jail, Kasab’s movements within his barrack are also subjected to strict control. Certain phone numbers, including mobile numbers, have been put under surveillance. his food is regularly checked to prevent anyone from administering poison to him.Kasab is taken to undisclosed locations for interrogation by security officials.

Dear S. Purohit just to ask you a few questions regarding this extract of your write-up ”Pakistani authorities, with the help of the ISI, are trying to eliminate Kasab as they fear that more revelations may cause further embarrassment,’ said an Intelligence official.”
REVELATIONS MAY CAUSE FURTHER EMBRRASSMENT TO WHOM, TO THE SECURITY LASPE IN YOUR SYSTEM??
Secondly, kindly try to think out of teh box, not to focus alone on ISI?

India is not Pakistan. If it were so then many ’Kasabs’ would have been eliminated long ago. In fact, the mistake lies in providing ’proofs’to Pakistan. Any terror activity in India necessarily has some Pakistani role. This is an undeniable truth

That is very true India is not Pakistan, well, no offence intended but what is termed as Proofs by the government of India are in terms of Legal System not proofs but findings. Secondly, when it comes to blaming each other this story can go on and on for ages. Btw; with Pakistan and India it has always been like this creating trouble for each other since the partition.    Tue, 2/10/09, Usha

Well, Failure in India’s internal security system or any other nation, for that matter, does not necessarily bring embarrassment with it. The intelligence officer quoted in the piece perhaps wanted to indicate that if India reveals the hard truth about Pakistan that walks together with assinine terrorists then much embarrassment may be caused to that country. that is a clear gesture that Inida is not interested in blaming (Na)Pak. It is a crook nation and India does not have to tell the plain truth to the world that is not blind.

Like I said earlier same can be true about India as well, therefore there is no point in carrying out the blaming each other. There is no point in repaeting the same old story.

The point to be noted here is,

What was the intelligence agency doing when the terrorists entered Mumbai??

The senior officials of the intelligence agency have a superb network to get the news of Pakistan trying to eliminate Kasab...but the same agency was totally unaware when the biggest attack on Mumbai was being planned!

Its a grave situation here, something needs to be done but the ones who are responsible for making this happen are busy in planning a war.

Agreed that Pakistan is not as pure as its name, but that doesn’t give us an excuse to forget our own shortcomings. On the contrary, it suggests that we need to be more prepared.

And the next important thing to be taken care of, is our corrupt administration system. If that is not dealt with, then its no use fighting the game at a higher level.

An insignificant constable or policeman can take do the work for D-Company for a bundle of Rs 500 notes, and ruin or dreams.

Sad story but true.

Aneez, you seem to be blindfolded by those political gimmicks of former home minister Shivraj Patil. He mischievously claimed an intelligence failure behind Mumbai terror attacks while intelligence officials had tipped of about a possible sea-borne terrorist attack. Patil was just trying to save his skin from public ire and I am totally confused what would induce you, an Indian citizen, to toe his line!! Of course, if you must repeat a false statement then you must!!

Sonu,

I take back the first half of my comment with due respect and acknowledgment to your clarification. You are right, maybe I was blindfolded. These politicians can really make one’s brain as non-functional as a dead pumpkin sometimes. And I confess I’m not even a person well-versed in political situation, so maybe I was swayed. That’s why I hate this politicians and avoid participating in political debates and discussions.

Anyway, thanks a lot for bringing me back on the right track. I appreciate it.

However, the concluding part of my comment is still, I believe, true to a major extent. And, that is a matter of concern too.

As for Pak’s intention of silencing Kasab, well, I don’t think there’s even a need for any debates about its latest intentions. Its as true as most of its heinous intentions we’ve witnessed in the recent past.

My Dear , Its india who has the desire of elimination of Kassab. The rumours are there that he has already been ,murdered by RAW . The Indian Political , Military and Intelligence agencies ae in the habbits of Blame gaming against ISI and pakistan. Infact indian government is failed to control thier Intelligence agencies and senstive departments. On 9th and 10th , Chopper Carrying President, Air Crafts of IAF and AI were escaped from colliding with eachother aparantly due to negligence of ACT and Ground Staff. One of the opinion is there that Indian Intelligence agencies are going to make a Plan to eliminate some of top most political leader and will put blame on ISI .

Why speak wide off the target every time you people are indicted in grave criminal activities like jihad and all? Your comment does not merit going through. I do not know if I can get it deleted from my page. If you know the way, pl. let me know.

Aneez, it is a pleasure every time I get to talk to you. I do subscribe to the later part of you comment. That is what terrorist elements are milking with ease. At times, Pakistan’s malafide intentions go well to open the closed eyes of our nation.
